It’s not what you think.
Some time ago, I told slave rich that it needed to sell its business. The business was just too much of a distraction from its real work and the time devoted to the business interfered with the slave’s ability to reach that true level of submission that I knew it craved.
Unlike its apartment, which I directed be sold within two weeks, i imposed no time deadline on the sale of the business, since I assumed that that would be a more complicated matter. But slave rich, with a little last minute assistance from me, sold the enterprise relatively quickly, and for a really good price.
While slave rich called itself an “investment banker” in actuality, it was kind of an investment adviser or maybe even a hedge fund manager. People gave rich their money to invest and rich and his staff found good places to invest that money. As such enterprises go, rich’s was a relatively small operation, and while his clients didn’t see the kind of returns that Bernie Madoff promised, rich regularity returned between 9 and 11% to his clients. I’m told that this is pretty good.
So, it was a clean sale. rich got nine figures for the business (that’s more than 99 million but less than 1 billion, for those of you who are mathematically challenged). Half is paid up front, and the other half is paid in two equal, guaranteed payments over the next two years. The employees who rich carefully trained go to the new owners but some time ago rich had given them 20% of the company’s stock, so they all came out of this pretty well too.
Slave rich owns nothing now. its condo is sold, its business has been sold, its car was given away to a charity months ago. it depends entirely upon me
