Sharing bed

Hi sam--I've been owned by a straight alpha for several years now. He doesn't allow sexual service, but he allows other forms + muscle and foot worship.

It's long distance, so I usually fly out and we meet up for a day or two. Recently, we got back to my hotel late and he decided to stay over for the first time. 2 things happened:

-He refused to share the bed. Said he wasn't comfortable with it.
-He insisted on sleeping on the couch.

I went along with it, but should I have done something different? Is there any way to help him get more comfortable sleeping together (nothing sexual, just sleep). I feel like this could be a problem if we ever start going on trips together.
