I don’t know either of the actors personally, of course. I have talked to Joey a few times online (not about this). 

I do know their work, and I know some stuff about the porn industry. It’s important to remember that studio porn actors are hired to perform at the whims of producers and directors. The personas of some studio-exclusive actors are massaged and sculpted to reflect a certain type (“Blake Mitchell” for HELIX cast almost exclusively as a Dom Top), but most are forced to flip.

Joey Mills is a 100% natural faggot, and I do believe Drake Von is a natural Alpha Top. But the studio thinks it can generate a buzz by flipping the actors. I personally think this is a terrible idea, mainly because the final product looks as awkward as this:
