The Purge, Part 2
I lost three (of five) X accounts today. I’ve seen a lot of accounts going down or being diminished across the platform, some of whom are vital voices in both our hierarchical movement as well as free speech.
This is what happens when dark forces try to restrict freedom. You can tell this latest purge is the result of dark forces because the truly evil accounts on the X platform remain unscathed.
Yes, racist accounts and Nazi accounts and world-threatening right-wing accounts are all still standing proud. That’s because the owner of X is an autistic, racist South African racist named Elon Musk. Everything he does is a con. He bought Twitter simply to have total control over the social media narrative ahead of the 2024 election, and he used his new power to suppress Democratic voices in favor of Trump. Needless to say, Elon is not favorable to LGBTQ voices, either, especially given that his child came out as trans.
I’ve been through these puritanical purges before. This site survived the sudden Tumblr bloodbath of December 2018, but only due to a quick escape I engineered at the closing bell.
I’ve had several people ask me if I’m sad about losing yet another round against the powers that be. I feel numb to it. I’ve been cancelled more times than I can even recall, and every time I’ve gotten back up off the canvas. I might be a faggot, but I’ve been resilient.
But I don’t know if I’m up for the fight again. It took me a little over a year to rebuild the last account (despite a shadow ban) to 38K followers after losing an account I’d built to 93K followers. It’s exhausting.
We shall see where I go from here. But, for now, I’ll be posting on @goatalphas and/or @sub_bnb.
