How come there is so much focus pretty much exclusively on being a “fag” and not the other levels on the pyramid?

It seems like we are missing out exploring the other categories. Especially Beta alpha and Beta sub. Is the pyramid still valid or has it become basically only 2 categories; Alpha and fag?

What makes a beta alpha lower than regular alphas?
What distinguishes a beta sub from a fag?
