Dear Sam,

I want to share with you what my life has been like since I followed your advice and told Farid my deepest desires, got psychologically naked for him and let him see how deeply my body and soul needed him. I want you to be a part of this because you are such an important part of why I had the courage to bare myself, in every way, to my uncle, and all that has happened to me since then is in large part a gift you have given me. I have been silent for a long time but that is because I was simply learning to let the life that Farid has chosen for me, happen to me. And now that Farid is away for the weekend, I have a moment to gather my thoughts, and I want to invite you into this new life you have allowed me to have by encouraging me to accept who I am, and I want you to know how grateful I am to you, and how deeply your advice has changed me, how much happiness your words have allowed me to reach for, and how ecstatic and grateful I am, how lucky I consider myself to be, that when I was confused and doubting, that you were there to help me cut through those doubts and accept the truth about myself.
