Hello. Hope you’re doing well. I live in Lebanon, Beirut and I’m a closeted faggot. I get a fair number of letters from the Middle East, and my advice is usually the same: try to find a way to leave the Middle East. It’s way too risky trying to find an Alpha to serve there, even in the countries that are a bit more lenient (like Lebanon).
How might you do that? If you don’t have a highly-prized skill (like in medical or IT) or you’re not in college (which could get you sponsorship), then I suggest applying for asylum. Try to get to the embassy of a gay-friendly country (Canada and Australia, for example) and apply for asylum.
When I rescued Baby Boy from Syria in 2017, I managed to get him across the border into Lebanon, then flew him to Malaysia where I his him for two years until we got Australia to take him in. It’s definitely possible, and we did it without any clear plan and few resources. You can, too.
